Behind the name Francis Miller and Patrick Bertaux comes a brand of exploration. As a result of given ideas, the two opened up a store in 1985 in the Marais neighborhood of Paris to showcase their concept. Their boutique featured unique clothing, objects for decorating, art, and perfumes. In the silence of their home across the sea, Miller and Bertaux remember becoming travelers. So, they tell stories of wonderful smelling churches in Mexico, the burning of incense, the roses of the Orient, the petals of flowers… In their clothing, Miller and Bertaux often mix fabrics. In the same way, like a patchwork of souvenirs, is born the perfumes of Miller et Bertaux: l’eau de parfum #1: parfum trouvé / (for you) white lily, black iris , rosewood essences, cedar, sandalwood, ylang, ylang, and musk l’eau de parfum #2: spiritus / land infused ginger, incense, sandalwood, tobacco, spice, and masculine rose l’eau de parfum #3: Green, Green, Green, and Green fresh laurel, verbena, white jasmine, cedar, and hints of vetiver, and musk These scents can be worn alone or mixed together to create your own unique fragrance.
